Here's a small, potent slice of my story
I found out who I was while I sat with my dying mother.
this is the moment where I became so fully myself, that
I didn't recognize my face in the mirror. My masks evaporated. My heart shone
through my shirt. The backs of my eyes opened. For four days, I moved through the mist
of her death with a timeless, trusting nature that I didn't know I had. I saw her memories and
rubbed her feet. And I got to be there when she exhaled for the very last time. I know who
I am in the middle of the abyss. A stunning, raw, devoted soul.
I cannot un-know her, un-see her or
un-be her.

FAIRY TALE
With my Swiss smoke show of a partner who I’ve known for 92 lives.
It’s an all-in, fundo blanco kind of love. Unexpected and totally surprising. We said “I love you” on the second day and it was as real as real can get. We live in the jungle at our retreat center, Alaya, in Panama.
